En esta edición NME elije los 50 albums de la decada, paradojicamente aunque se encuentran en la tapa no aparece ninguno de los materiales de Oasis. En su interior la revista se jacta de haber introducido en el mundo a Oasis, Klaxsons, Arctic Monkeys y The Smiths a traves de sus páginas. Hay que aclarar también que la primer portada de Oasis fué en la revista The Face.
